The aims and objectives of Drishtipath Eye Hospital Trust are rooted in the principles of public welfare and charitable service. The Trust is committed to undertaking activities that promote the general well-being of society, with a particular focus on providing relief to the poor, enhancing access to quality education, offering essential medical services, and furthering causes that benefit the public at large. These initiatives shall be pursued strictly on a not-for-profit basis, in accordance with the provisions and definitions set out in the Income-tax Act, 1961, and any applicable orders or statutory modifications currently in force. All objectives are intended to serve the public interest without involving any activity that generates commercial profit.

Community & Social Outreach
Provide Community Ophthalmic Services to rural areas including outreach camps for disease identification and treatment.
Perform Cataract surgeries and eye check-ups at old age homes and Leprosy homes (including free treatment and operations).
Conduct school screening programmes and public awareness seminars on eye donation and hygiene.
Execute Diabetic Retinopathy screening camps and provide OP treatment for poor patients within the hospital.
Ensure health services reach disadvantaged groups including Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes.
International Care Standards
Deliver comprehensive quality ophthalmic services of International Standards to all sections of society under one roof.
Operate as a Center of Excellence, bringing advanced technology and superior techniques to every individual.
Provide adequate, qualitative, preventive, and curative eye health care for the entire State.
Cater to the full spectrum of eye diseases—from the corneal pole to the retinal pole.
Offer a complete range of services tailored for both pediatric and geriatric patient needs.
Healthcare Infrastructure
Support National Health Programs and network with government agencies to link the community with eye welfare projects.
Establish and maintain Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Day Care Centers, and Diagnostic Centers across India.
Maintain specialized Eye-Banks and keratoplasty services, including donor motivation for cornea transplants.
Provide ambulance and patient-carrying vehicles to ensure rural beneficiaries have easy, timely access to care.
Develop a sustainable eye health system that remains relevant and adds value for future generations.
Innovation & Medical Training
Prepare the next generation of Ophthalmic Assistants, Paramedics, and Ophthalmologists through specialized teaching courses.
Strengthen training programs and super-specializations for Doctors through ongoing research and academic activities.
Implement Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) programmes to boost service delivery.
